TMAFitness Boot CampWho works out in Fitness Boot Camps?

Men and women of all levels of physical conditioning train in our Boot Camp classes.  One thing everyone has in common is to better themselves.  If you want to work hard and aren't afraid of sweat and sacrifice, Boot Camp is for you!  Bring a positive attitude and be prepared to have your hard work rewarded with results.

What are Fitness Boot Camp Workouts Like?

First and foremost, workouts are fun!  After all, it's a lot easier to look forward to working out if you're having a good time with a cool group of people.  Workouts are very challenging.  Be prepared to venture out of your comfort zone and achieve at a higher level.  We will work with you so that we understand your goals and provide the training and guidance you need to be successful!

Boot Camp Workout are Fun and Energizing!Workouts consist of varied routines utilizing a full range of strength, martial arts and kickboxing training equipment.  Training focuses on 3 key areas:  strength, flexibility and endurance.

Melanie gets in shape at TMAFitness Boot Camp!Melanie’s Boot Camp Success Story:

Melanie is a busy working mom who joined TMAFitness in February on a whim to take Boot Camp classes with her girlfriends. She was hoping the class could help get her body back in shape after having children. “I was so intimidated by the concept of the class but I kept telling myself if I could just get through the 3-week session then I’d be motivated to get back to working out regularly” she says, “However, I became addicted after the first session because of the amazing workout high and how I saw my body responding. I need this class to stay in shape, keep me motivated and to keep my sanity.”
Melanie once had a gym membership that she rarely used and now she attends each morning Boot Camp session because she knows trainer Melissa is going to give her the best workout. “Melissa knows how to push you to your limit and beyond but at the same time she is extremely caring.” shares Melanie. “She also practices what she is teaching which is very inspiring. I think we all want our bodies to look that good!”
Melanie not only feels good but looks good, too. “I have dropped two sizes and am on my way to going down one more. I actually have muscle tone for the first time ever. I used to have a lot of low back pain but now it’s virtually gone. I just feel like I’m healthy and getting my body to its ideal place. I’ve had a lot of compliments from my friends and family which is very encouraging.”
Melanie has stuck with the program for nine months and doesn’t plan on stopping. “I love that every workout is different. It really keeps things interesting and seems to make a difference in how your body tones up” said Melanie.
The morning session is Melanie’s preference since it works with her schedule as a mom. “At first I was really apprehensive about the early morning classes but I have really grown to like the morning workouts. I’m finished with a major workout before my family is even awake, it feels great.” she says, “The great thing about TMAFitness is that if I am extra tired one morning and can’t make it to class, then I know I can attend an evening class and still get my workout in.”
Her fondness for fitness is infectious and Melanie is not only a great example of how you can make time for your health but also a great role model for her children as they see a healthy mom who works hard to achieve her goals.

What if I am not in shape, can I still do Boot Camp?

No problem.  The hardest part of getting in shape is taking that first step.  Boot Camp is for individuals of all fitness levels.  Students are guided on an individual basis so that everyone is challenged.

What types of fitness activities make up the Boot Camp workouts?

No two Boot Camp workouts are alike.  Cardio, strength training, stretching, kickboxing, plyometrics and a variety of other exercises and routines are incorporated into the workouts.  Boot Camp classes are always fun, challenging and rewarding.

Is any special equipment required?

No!  Just wear regular workout clothing and bring a water bottle.  That's it!
