Overland Park Tae Kwon Do

The Martial Arts program at TMAFitness has a reputation for quality instruction and dedicated students. Enjoying a rich heritage, the Martial Arts program is led by David DiBella. David is the founder of TMAFitness and has been training and teaching the martial arts for over 30 years. Based on Chung Do Kwan, the most traditional style of Tae Kwon Do, our curriculum emphasizes discipline, perseverance, technique, self-defense and physical fitness.

Martial arts training is challenging, yet very rewarding. Classes start with “basics”, which are the fundamental kicks, strikes and blocks. After basics, class is broken down by belt level and rank appropriate instruction takes place. We maintain a low student to instructor ration as quality instruction is our top priority. Classes usually end with self-defense drills, sparring and real world application of the techniques taught.
